Our Daily Routine
Each room has a set routine, the routines are in place so the children can take part in a wide range of activities; whether they be chosen by the child or led by our Nursery Nurses. Each routine takes into account the changing energy levels of the children through the day all based on positive behaviour and lots of encouragement and praise to the children.
Continuous outdoor provision throughout the day (Morning/Afternoon). Water and Milk available throughout the day.
Children in nappies are changed based on our nappy Changing Routines, but also checked frequently throughout the day and changed when needed.
Daily routine:
| 8.00am | Children start to arrive, breakfast given to those who require. |
| 8.30am | Children go to their own rooms and start daily activities, child-lead and directed activities. Nappies, toileting and hand washing throughout the morning as is required. Babies nap time for those who require it. |
| 10.00am | Snack time – Fresh fruit & Milk. |
| 10.20am | Outside play time for those who wish, all encouraged. |
| 11.30am | Inside for toileting, nappy changing and hand washing. |
| 12 noon | Story Time. |
| Lunch Time | Home cooked main & pudding. |
| 12.40pm | Sleep time or quiet rest time for all children. |
| 2.20pm | Afternoon snack – Fresh fruit & Milk. |
| 2.30pm | Afternoon activities begin inside own areas or big walk around the fields. |
| 3.30pm | Singing, dancing and action song time. Toileting, nappies, and hand washing. |
| 4:30pm | Tea Time - Home cooked main & pudding. |
| 4.45pm | Free play and construction play, tent building and den making. |
